The Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX) was established under the Securities Exchange Company Law of 1996 and it began operations in June 1997. It functions as a true offshore market that is designed to meet international standards as well as the needs of specialist products.

The CSX specializes in the listing of mutual funds, hedge funds and debt instruments, including eurobonds, sukuks, CDOs, CLOs and other related securities. It is known for the broad array of listed companies, including leading global financial institutions, emerging technology and life sciences companies, as well as some of the world’s most successful hedge funds. The CSX currently has listed more than 4,000 securities.
